Sacred Citadel of Pachacamac + Lunch + Gold Museum
Our excursion begins with a panoramic view of the Pucllana Pyramid, built in the 4th century AD. and considered "sacred town" by the Incas. Later we will go to the Sacred Citadel of Pachacamac, sanctuary of the God Pachacamac, creator of the universe for the ancient Andean peoples.
The citadel includes temples, pyramids and palaces. The "Temple of the Sun", the "Temple of Pachacamac", the "Acllahuasi" or "Palace of the Virgins of the Sun", among others, stand out. The whole place was considered sacred and part of the mystical axis of the world. The excursion also includes a visit to the traditional district of Barranco, where its famous Bridge of Sighs stands out, continuing through El Salto del Fraile, Los Pantanos de Villa and we will enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
After having lunch at the Alfresco restaurant, our guide will lead you to the Gold Museum that awaits an important private collection of gold pieces from various pre-Columbian cultures, some with more than 2000 years old.
